There has just been a possible motorcycle fatality reported to the California Highway Patrol in the area of Pinyon Pines near Mile Marker 80 on the area known as the Pines To Palms Highway.

At approximately 3:09 p.m. a female hiker was walking with her dog in the area, when she came upon what she believed to be a fatal motorcycle accident. The caller reported being too afraid to go near the body. However, based on what she could see, she stated it appeared to be a fatal accident.
